MIE Community Robotics Club is an 11 week program to prepare students to compete in robotics competitions.

The 2022 MIE Community Robotics clubs are open to Year 5 & 6 students, Year 10, 11 & 12 students who are without access to a robotics club or are home schooled and open also to Higher Education students.

Very well run, and as a parent I would like to express my gratitude and thanks for such a fun, motivating and enthusiastic course. Thank you very much.

In 2021, our Robotics Club ran every Saturday morning for 11 weeks in Semester 1 from Saturday 6th March 9am – 12noon at the USC Sippy Downs Campus. It was open to students in Years 5, 6 and 7.

In 2022, we are expanding our MIE Community Robotics Clubs to Sippy Downs, Moreton Bay and Fraser Coast regions. The clubs will target different age groups in the region and included in the costs is team registration in the 2022 RoboRave competition at USC Stadium on Sunday 17th July. The club includes access to all equipment including robotics, and laptops are provided for students to use each week in the club if required.
